James was formerly the CEO of a family office and before that was a director at the hedge fund Odey, having trained as an Analyst at HSBC Global Asset Management.

In 2020 James was in Spear’s Magazines list of the UK’s “Top 10 'Ultra High Net Worth' Wealth Managers” (The youngest one!).

He has worked in both Frankfurt and London and has consulted as an investment advisor on behalf of organisations including HM Treasury, PWC and Royal Dutch Shell. James has also been a market commentator in the FT, The Times, Telegraph, CityWire and Investment Week.

James is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Investment (Chartered FCSI).
